Wanting to start 4m NB Advert - need buttons advice / graphics critism

There will be 13 buttons (yes, 13 is a weird number). So far I have 1 - Home/Garden (taken) 2 - Books/School 3 - Food/Drinks 4 - Collectables 5 - Training/Bottled Faeries 6 - Wearables/Backgrounds (taken) 7 - Petpets/Supplies 8 - Toys and Plushies (taken) 9 - 10 - 11 - 12 - 13 - What are some other relatively easy to fill categories? And do you think any of the categories already spoken for will be hell on wheels? Aaaaand what is a good day to post (not Friday or Saturday, I am pretty much unavailable on the weekends - unless someone I know I can trust wants to take on the posting, that is) Also, since it is going to be the "optional" nb advert for me and joshiesmommy's mall, I clearly need the name to be Shenkuu themed. Shops of Shenkuu Heights? Shop at Shenkuu Market? Something I haven't thought about yet? The banner (thus far) is attached. I'll reupload as it gets edited.

http://www.neopets.com/~4mTracker Seems to just be snowy rivers according to the tracker... thursdays look ok bi weekly too, every other week mel posts so that makes thursdays slightly less appealing

Monday looks like it alternates between two bi-weeklys. That's not too bad. Tuesday looks like it has potential because I noticed this week the Shenkuu Crew was posting a much less expensive ad. I'm not sure if they are going to continue doing that, but if so then that leaves only 1 person doing it biweekly, I think! EDIT: Crap, that's the Altador Crew, nevermind! So many crews ahhh

No Mel has an ad that goes up every tuesday, but still, only one other person to compete with is reasonable. As kids go back to school though it becomes crucial that if you are posting on a weekday to get top. Missing top on a weekday during term time (especially september to say november) stinks!

I actually had been thinking of maybe doing Thursday, just because for some reason that is one of my higher hits and profit days. So I always had the impression that Thursday must be a busier day on neopets. I could be crazy, though. I was hoping to avoid duplicate buttons (ie food/drinks AND bakery/sweets) because I always worry that makes it less profitable for the people on that more-or-less shared category. But if it's unavoidable I guess it's unavoidable. ;)

You could always leave the bakery thing as a maybe if you struggle to think of spots to fill your spaces with :) Thursdays have always been one of my worst profit days, you must hog all my sales that day *lol*

sorry, Kirsty :( I have no idea what that is about - but I look back at my sales tracker (I track my sales on another site cuz I've been using it for a couple of years and am too lazy to switch to neomallers portal) and consistantly Thursdays are better than Fridays and on par with Saturdays. No idea why.

Thursday definately looks a good target for you then. You can always switch around and try different days out anyhow to see what works. I did well this Thursday just gone, but normally they just stink 0:-) I even ran an ad a few times on Thursdays and couldn't make my np back for the cost *lol* If you end up desperate, backgrounds works well as a stand alone button to sell off to someone else.

~ May ~ I heard toys is hard to fill, but being on the top of the banner I would be highly tempted to fill it since... well, it's on top and all xD That is depending on the price and day :p

I stand corrected Thursday just gone was crap for me :P 150k less profit than the Wednesday and the Friday LOL! Toys is already taken by the way :)
