I let my kids play on Neopets for about 8 months before I signed the permission form because I wanted to protect them from weirdos. I didn't even think about the viruses and cookie grabber programs then. If you can, ask your parents why they would not sign your permission form and then tell them what it would mean (you can ask for help on the games and make your shop look different and that's about it). Talking to parents is always good and not all parents refuse to listen. If you do continue to use the account you set-up know that if NEO finds out you are not the age you said your account will be frozen. Also, you need to use the programs Dmitri suggests when on NEO. If you don't the cookie grabbers can get into your parents' bank account, credit card account, and even get their tax information which could allow them to have their identity stolen.
