Shop Front advice

hum well so ever since I got into spooky market I got absolutelly NO hits from that.. Well, sure, I wasn't expecting much... But one? I mean it should have at least one in.. a bit over one week? just so I am sure the banner is working XD It IS configured the right way, as far as I know... So I can only guess it looks awful XD My shop is second one on the hut but the first one has a blog that looks like a neopets standard blog... So I want your advice on how bad my banner looks XD Also, if there is any possible way that my background code doesn't show up on the shop thingy on the hut AND also why my banner and mall banner are not vertically aligned on the hut as they are on the shop http://www.neopets.com/market.phtml?type=list&limit=390&world=3 - Hut http://www.neopets.com/browseshop.phtml?owner=mayarendadd - Shop Thanks for all feedback :)

It looks much better! Animation would be a good idea as well. :)

I have yet to get a hit from my hut in spooky market and I have been in the spooky market for about a month now. Size 316 currently.

Size 316 currently.[/quote] I checked your shop and the reason why you don't get any hits is because you have no banner. How do you expect people to enter your shop through the hut with no banner?

Also remember, that other people in your mall will get hits from the hut and it will show up under mall. So every hit from you being in the hut isn't showing. If I were to guess, it's a small number compared to the people actually clicking on the links in your shop.

Is there a problem with the Spooky Marketplace at the moment? I just went there and it won't let me click on anything. Could this be why you're not getting hits? There is a high possibility that I'm just being an idiot though, unfortuantely, but I can't access the huts at all :P

Although it's not a big deal, you may want to hide the style info at the top. You can do this by enclosing the style tag with a font tag setting the color to #FFFFCC (the background color used in markets). It should look something like: <font color="#FFFFCC"><style> ..... </style></font> - peter

I'll do that, yes, thanks a lot :* And I get it with the mall thing.. Also they might be clicking on MY spot on the mall and it will take them to my shop anyways... Thanks for all the help so far :)

I'm in spooky market aswell and I'm having the same problem. I think people just don't like plushie/toy shops *sigh* but most of the hits probably go to your mallmembers anyway. (and your banner looks fine, and yes, I clicked it ^.^) Edit* I don't know what's wrong with your mallbanner and the links, but when I click on wearables and other buttons, it doesn't guide me somewhere. And this both in the hut and your shop.. Maybe you should look into that, cause I find it a bit odd :S

I had the same problem before. You must switch from Flash to HTML.
