[New] NeoMallers Portal Pro 8.5 released

For those who are having issues with databases going boom, I've included a new feature called "Database Guard" Although it sacrifices a tiny percent of speed, each entry is now double checked before the data is being written. In other words, if the portal is about to write empty values (which is what causes the databases to hiccup), portal will crash itself and shut down automatically to prevent damage to the DB) Hopefully this will eliminate these weird database glitches. Secondly, if an entry is corrupted, portal will automatically attempt to regenerate it. Though you might lose your historical value, it wont become "invisible" or "frozen" aka uneditable in the database system. Also, [b]Opera 10.00 ALPHA[/b] is no longer supported. If you're using this experimental browser, please go to Opera's website to download the new 10.00 full version. The Opera team fixed the text glitch so I also dropped the opera patch from the portal to minimize errors. Hi Dmitri, hate to bug you again but I found something else that doesn't seem to be working. When I look at my "Shop Overview" is says I have 0/625 and 0% of items in stock. I remember it used to work a while back but not anymore:( Also, is there a way to rank your customers by sales, hits, profits, quantity etc, the way you can with items you've sold? Thanks for all your hard work!

Yeah i changed the text. I couldnt come up with a suitable "slogan" so i just stuck that in as filler. The shop overview is referring to the old DB system so its not working exactly. And you can already rank the customers by those stats. There's a button called rank tool in the customers tab

I was thinking of setting up a drop down menu where these tiny features slide out upon mouse hover but i think it might annoy the crap out of some people. And the interface would have to be redone as well so didnt really go for it. Maybe christmas break i might play around with it more

I used to be able to open the portal twice... so that I could have two different profiled open at once... Cant do that anymore... is there a reason? Oh, and it would be nice to be able to delete a profile... ;) Thanks so much for everything!! :D

Why would you want 2 profiles to be open at the same time? You're only allowed one shop lol And you can delete the profiles from the users folder ;)

Not sure why China was doing it, but I remember having 2 portals open when I was swtiching categories. I think to copy all my bought@ prices of my old DB to new DB.

I don't know if this is why she asked but some people make different profiles on their portal for different types of items in their shop. If you sell Neggs, Maps, and Training items, you might make 3 different things in your portal for each, to see which one does best. At least, that's what I've heard of people doing.
