I'm pretty sure you're too late. None have been released since before 7am NST (ie - they stopped being released once staff got to the TNT headquarters) so I presume that it was a mistake/glitch and won't be happening again.

Eh, I wasn't that excited to begin with anyways. It was more of just the whole "hype" made from the Pound board that got me thinking about it. Anyways, thanks for letting me know! I heard they only released the draiks three times so congrats to those that have gotten it.

NEOPIAN TIMES EDITORIAL -- CRAP!!!!!!!! - the crap part was mine :(! Howdy, TNT! This is my first time submitting a question to the Editorial, so I'm a bit nervous! Anyway, it seems that on September 9th, 2009 at the hour of 6:00 AM (NST), Draiks were released for creation through "Create a Pet." This caused an obvious uproar within the Neopian community. My question is as follows: was the release of the Draiks an accident or intentional? A lot of people are wondering. Everyone has tried to come up with their own theories, but I'd love to have TNT explain the whole situation. ~tamstari We could blame this one on the Meepits, but honestly it seems like this was a glitch on our part. It was one of those horrific, blurry-eyed early morning moments when support suddenly asked, "Why are Draiks being released?" promptly followed by us flailing around and stopping it A.S.A.P. We talked about the matter and decided not to remove the created Draiks, as we were hoping some good would come out of it and the price of Draik morphers and eggs would take a dip (not to mention the technical disaster and emotional trauma we would cause by taking away everyone's new Neopets). We're very sorry to anyone who sat there refreshing for more, or recently dropped a cool 10 mil on a Draik and felt a little cheated. How does something glitch like that? I can see where something would glitch and give you two items instead of one, or that time when you could do all the dailies as much as you wanted for a few hours, but releasing just so many draiks at once at the intervals that it did and on draik day... that doesn't really sound like a glitch.

[center] Mmm, maybe a new employee was in charge of setting the scripts to release LE pets on their official days, and someone forgot to tell them that draiks don't get released? However it happened, it had to have been a stupid-person error it would seem... Unless the release scripts are automatically set and draiks have to be manually... unset each year. I didn't think something like that could possibly be a glitch, it just didn't seem right. Though, whilst refreshing, I did find 2 lab maps...at the same time. So I guess missing out on my dreamie wasn't totally pointless. 9-9-09: The day half of Neopia refreshed a single page. All day long.

Even though they said it was a glitch, I'm not sure I believe it. There was an editorial awhile back saying that draiks were limited, not restricted, and that every so often they might be released on Draik day. The past years that it has happened, it's always been only in the early morning like it was this time. It seems more like it was just one of those rare releases and then afterwards, TNT wanted to deny that because so many people got angry. Of course, I could be wrong. I have no idea. But it *IS* possible for Draiks to be released on draik day. They are not exempt from that, only very rare. I missed it, too. I refreshed all day like everyone else. :P ~ Love books?
