My dumb question for today

Neo made a change and I don't know how to adjust for it. *angry* "ice shield" When I look it up on the wiz I get "wooden blocking shield". My Portal keeps telling me I'm out of ice shields. How do I eliminate ice shield from my data base? This should be strait forward but I just haven't taken the time to figure it out (my bad).

There is a delete button :* so when in your item database just bring "ice shield" up and then you can delete it there. Your problem could be the fact that it is simply searching on the parameter "shield," especially if you haven't got the wording right on it. (for example, even if I searched Tarragon Achyfi, it could come up with Tarragon Achyfi Lollypop because it's not specified to only stay on the first one. Basically, if you search something with a name in it, unless there is only one item in all of Neopia that has that ONE word in it, it will search through EVERYTHING that has that word in it; in your case, why it came up with Wooden Blocking *Shield* [I have no idea if that made sense, it's 1:10 a.m. here]) Try changing the drop down list "Search Items" from "containing my phrase" to "identical to my phrase." There IS an actual Ice Shield, JellyNeo confirmed that, but I think the reason why Wooden Practice Shield came up was because of the Wooden PractICE Shield; get it? EDIT: desperately_yours, what you're looking for is *Icy* Nimmo Shield. I splained it was a dumb question! :( I can't believe, after all these years of doing this I totally missed the obvious "practICE SHIELD" I ran that search 5 or 6 times and every time it it came up wrong. I gotta go take some more stupid pills ~~~~ oh, no, I guess I don't! LOL So, Kirsty ~ I guess you're all alone again, sorry :(

poor kirsty :( actually poor me too lol. ive thought of a rename feature but that wasnt really possible with the old db system. best i could do was make the "old" entry invisible and add a new one with data from that old entry. but with the new db, it uses a different structure so i think itll work. ill probably toss it in when i get the chance... someday :p
