I'm not in any market but I do have to agree with 5tar. MM shops have spent A LOT and done A LOT of work to get to where they are, so this new little perk is fair imo. It's just all the more reason to shoot for MM. (:

I realise how much it is to spend and I am not looking forward to it :o .. but now it is likely that even though I am putting almost everything I make into upgrading my shop to get there the ones who are there will be able to have more exposure and be able to upgrade quicker pulling away from the other sized shops. Lets face it some of those Main Market shops mark their items way way up, but the upgrading neopoints have to come from somewhere.. and if thats whats needed good luck to them but like me with a 450 shop my profit margin is a lot less per item as I have to target SSW prices to get the traffic. I am not in anyway critising but just a view from a smaller shop that is trying to work hard at getting there and possibly seeing the benchmark get out of reach

I upgraded directly to main with neopoints obtained from restocking in the neopian shops, reselling, and stockmarket. None of which are from malling since i didnt bother with mini malling

Great news. :) My sales in the past two weeks have really picked back up after the little drought as summer ended. This will only help (I believe) even more. Woo hooo!

I don't think it is fair--it's hard enough to get into the main marketplace as is. I think the best thing that could happen is if they removed all the shops with nothing in them and place them on a "inactive" hold. Books!
