Buy at price reset to 800 / #sold reset to 157

After submitting my shop front today, the majority of my items' 'bought @' prices were set to 800, the '#sold' set to 157 or 158, and many of the 'sell @' prices set to 5101.... I back up my "users" file constantly, so I deleted it, restored the back up file and went about copy/pasting my shop front again and the same thing happened.

lol this is funny. i create an auto protect to prevent prices from being reset to 0 so they now reset to 800 xD anyways browser? os?

Browser - Firefox 3.5.3 OS - Windows XP :)

heh the same system as before. i think the fastest route would be to zip up the profile folder to [email protected] im guessing the data file in the db_shopstock folder contains a bunch of blank entries

Sent. Thanks! :)

Basically, the same thing that happened here: http://www.neomallers.com/node/1662 is happening again. However, the new portal self shuts down when it tries to write zeros in the entries. In this case, it's writing 800 for everything. I bet if i block that, it'll write 1000 for everything next. It's just so weird that all the problems mentioned here, i never have had issues with.

Ok, so there's no fix? I need to re-add the items back in? :P
Ok, so there's no fix? I need to re-add the items back in? :P
Well the databae you sent me is all reset to 800 np. Well not all, but it seems to alternative between 2988 and 800, which i have absolutely no idea. I'll probably discontinue the portal since i just dont have the time to keep up with it. People are getting errors that I cant reproduce and real life is getting very busy. My shop has been abandoned for over a week once lol And with the upcoming release of Windows 7... yeah. Edit: If you can send the uncorrupted version of it, i might be able to compare it though, i doubt it since i just plugged it into firefox 3.5.3 and it works perfectly. I even dropped some of the text too. Still pasted perfectly lol (and i'm using the regular EXE version of portal without the developing environment)

Since this has hit me up as well. Do you think it would be best to be operating out of Opera or another browser? Would this reduce our chances of having the errors? I have done that in the past but had just been operating everything out of Firefox now to have the safety of key scrambler and such. Thanks

I can never remember that one giving me (and no where near as many people) a problem that wasn't the user's fault or just a rare "hiccup".

No there is no way. I dont have the old code anymore =/ Whats odd is i have never gotten it and i use the portal probably more than anyone here since i run it through all kinds of tests to make it fail Opera is what i use mainly since firefox is so slow compared to it but it does require a bit of tweaking and opera's version of noscript is very hard to configure
