If you don't mind me asking, how much is that kick ass machine going to cost? :P[/quote] well that depends on which stage of the upgrading you are asking about... if its just the one graphics card, the processor, motherboard, harddrive and ram, it shouldn't cost more than $700, however I know for a fact that if you went and tried to get HP etc to do it, they'd charge you almost double that. Some of the parts i'm using ie the 1st graphics card and tower, and even some of the ram I'm taking from my old computers, the motherboard I'm buying ($89) is pretty new and supports up to 16 gbs of ram which most companies don't even offer mainly because anyone who even needs that much ram odds are can put it together themselves. Well it's probably SATA, but I was making a point that the mobo will severely limit you in several ways... Most people like to get cheap mobo's coz they don't understand the importance... My PC I bought a month ago has an Asus P6T, not sure what it costs where you live, but I'd strongly recommend it, that, an i7 920, and 3x2GB sticks of RAM shouldn't cost you much, throw in a 1TB hard drive and a decent GPU and you have a solid PC that will do anything you want with ease for a long time... Anyway, up to you of course, have fun :D

College has been cruel to my bank account.
