Switching Categories

I am switching from Avatars/Packrat/Random to Food -- hurray! Thanks for those of you who said to just keep waiting and one day I would be able to get back to Food. You were right! I am using all of my sales of non-food items for upgrading. Since yesterday I have upgraded from size 165 to 181 - that's 552,000 NP in sales in 24 hours which is pretty amazing for me -- and I didn't lose any profit! (Sorry for running the Shop Wizard hits up to 121 yesterday.) In addition to some great deals in my shop I have some trades up: Map pieces, scratchcards, petpets (the Gallion is for my son), and backgrounds. Feel free to neomail me to let me know you saw this ad so I know you are from Neomallers (unless you are a top poster and then I pretty much know you :)

no thats fine. just buy 1000 of any stock at 15. when there are many at 15 i choose the one that from exp had a high profit aka it goes up more. if its between stocks i dont know, i choose the one with higher volume and buy 1000 of that.

Last time I checked it was flat. I think I like the one with the pets in it so much more... What about the colors? [center] Hmm, I've just recently started filling my portfolio again, so I buy whatever stock I don't have... But if I have all of the ones at 15, I either buy one at 16 or I buy more of whatever stock I have the least of. *nods* Once I have a strong diverse port, then I'll probably start following Dmitri's advice (buying more of the most profitable). But for now... I think I will buy 1,000 shares daily and if 3 are at 15 then I'll buy 333 shares; if 2, then 500 each... Hopefully that increases the odds of profits while minimizing the risk of losing a gob of points at once. Everyday it's usually different stocks that's at 15. I only have a few over 10k shares , yet I've been buying for months and months. They pretty much diversify themselves everyday so you won't have to do the 333/333/333,500/500 method. Buy variety instead of quantity but I switched to quantity 4 months ago. I now buy all of the stocks that I have more than buying other stocks that I do not have. I found that if I do it this way, I'll have a higher possibility on getting big profits instead of getting a small one.
