Illustrator help lol

Anyone know why the area around the elements in the attached file like the big O and the text Optima, it shows up blue? On screen it looks fine, but when printed, there's a big blue box in the background around these areas. And the other issue is, when saving an Adobe illustrator (.ai) file as PDF, the whole thing looks a tad bit blue too. Thanks!

Nevermind I got it. And for those curious, it's because of transparency in Illustrator. Doesnt seem to like it for some odd reason. A work around is to force printing in grayscale and voila, the nasty fix works.
