Emulate sales

Hello, I just want to know what emulate sales does? I assume you need to do this for items that are priced under 1000np, and this will show them as sold then and when they were sold in the item database? Does doing this also update money made etc in portal, and add it to my portal sales history? Cheers, jAMIE. If this is confusing, please kindly tell me how I can keep track of items priced under 1000np in portal.

Yes it will update your sales statistics after you click process sales in the regular sales history module. (The emulation feature basically structures the sales history based on what you specify and transfers it over to the sales history module in which you must click Process Sales to actually process/confirm that data)

One more question please... Can I emulate more than 1 sale at a time? At the moment I am doing it individually, which takes a long time when you have to process it, then load up your products again to do it with your other sales? Can you highlight say 4 items and click emulate and do them all at once? Many thanks for the great help so far!

Nope not at the moment. Best solution right now is to make sure all pricing is at least 1000 NP. It has been suggested before so it'll eventually come but not right now because of other stuff i have to deal with
