Sadly, this year all of my finals and stress are so tightly packed into this week and the first half of next week (our actual finals week), that I won't be able to clean until its all over. Thats okay, though... It'll be good destressing for the days after. I'll clean and put away the disaster area that this semester has made my office into, vacuum every surface, and do a major scrubdown of my bathroom. Oo, I could hand wash the floor in the kitchen, too... I guess if my life is a mess my surrounds being orderly makes me feel more in control. Even at work when I get stressed-out I will just start cleaning my desk and redecorate my office. My co-workers know when I am having a hard time because everything sparkles, lol! I remember my senior year in college (2nd semester) was so stressful (took 3 extra classes for some reason and worked nearly full-time in the evenings/weekends?) that I didn't take my Christmas tree down until Spring Break. Why I didn't take it down Christmas break, I dunno. It was super dusty *ewwww* That was the same semester my apartment was so cluttered with papers and clothes at exam time (looked like a boys dorm room) that I pitched a tent in my front yard so I could sleep in peace. I have a hard time relaxing in mess. I ran an extension cord from my basement apartment to the tent in the front yard so I could take a lamp, alarm clock, and electric blanket. (It was freezing!) I woke up in the middle of the night with a VERY large animal snorting and stomping right outside the tent. I think it was a very large deer since we don't have moose. I could not see the animal and tried to stay still because I was envisioning a bull that was about to charge my tent and impale me with it's horns, scary!
