Neopets Premium Holiday Special ($49.95)

The only reason I'm asking this here is that I know I talked to someone from this forum about it previously but I mailed who I thought it was and it wasn't them. :P Anyways last year Neopets gave a discount rate on Premium in December, and I was wondering if anyone who may have bought it then remembers around what date it came out? I'm buying myself Premium and don't feel like buying it now only to have to be $20 cheaper next week. Thanks in advance! :*

I just bought premium after a 3 month break from it again yesterday. It was 69$ though O.O how do i get a 20$ refund!?! i'm not sure wheres tech support ?? =/

Hi, I just used Live Chat for Premium to find out about the discount for renewal. The rep told me the $49.95 per year special IS in effect. And yes, they charge your credit card $69.95, but say that a $20 credit will be posted in 10 to 12 days. I had to phone them to renew because I used a different credit card, but the phone rep was the same guy I got for Live Chat. I'll let y'all know if/when the credit appears. :)

yeah thats how it was last year. i had mine extended even though i had 9mths remaining on my current one. same issue again this year so ill probably get it extended again. 49 isnt too bad though. definitely worth it for me since i enjoy it so much :p much better than blowing money on drugs or tents...

I called customer service earlier today. They told me "where I heard this from" and "this was offered in the previous years but not this year" .. then he said "what we can do is refund you $20 to your credit card" and i was like chyeah!! and got my refund XD (in about 2 weeks he said)
