Hi,
I've been trying to install the sales tracker but something weird happens.
I download the file (yes, the right one), open it, install it, nothing wrong happens, I get the message of sucessfull instalation but... when I go to the folder there's only 2 files there (see screenshot).
It's getting frustrating.
I'm using Windows Vista.
Thanks in advance for the help.
Your problem is highlighted.
And your problem is not reading since I already wrote I had the same problem on XP.
@Dmitri:
Scary advice... even so, I had already tried it with IE since the new computer (computer 3) is brand new and doens't have anything installed yet, so no other browser to use.
This is really confusing to me now because I see no possible explanations for a program not installing even on safe mode on 3 different computers when aparrently no one else has a problem with it. I mean... I've used computers for twelve years and this is really a new experience. A program that actually chooses not to install for a specific user...
Anyway, thanks for the help but it looks like there's nothing else to try, which is a shame because the program seems great.
So I've decided to re-install the Portal today and I've been getting the same issue as described here. I haven't made any changes to my computer nor installed any new programs since I last downloaded it and had no problems with the installation before. I uninstalled the program properly before running the setup and tried re-downloading and reinstalling several times, it just doesn't wanna play nice.
Maybe it's pouting because I uninstalled it before? =(
Try downloading it again. there was abit of a messup in the installer. I just uploaded it 10 mins ago so if you downloaded it before that, probably have to do it again

Just tried it again, still doesn't work for me. I just found a way around it though, that is to manually unzip the files into the Neomallers folder. I used WinRar to unzip both the installer and then the portal itself, the program's up and running =) Still don't know what's bugging the installer from working normally though.
What error do you get?

None, that's the creepy part. Just like the topic's original poster described, the install seems to go through normally and I get the successful install box to pop, yet all I get is a folder and 2 text files. I can access the shortcut to the portal in my start menu but of course it doesn't work since there is no .exe installed. I don't try changing the default directory, c:/NeoMallers as intended. I don't recall doing anything different than the last time I've installed the program and I don't see how the instal file would be corrupted since I can manually access everything.

ok one more thing, what's the date modified on the installer file? You can access this by clicking on it and looking to the left sidebar
