Neopets Premium Holiday Special ($49.95)

The only reason I'm asking this here is that I know I talked to someone from this forum about it previously but I mailed who I thought it was and it wasn't them. :P Anyways last year Neopets gave a discount rate on Premium in December, and I was wondering if anyone who may have bought it then remembers around what date it came out? I'm buying myself Premium and don't feel like buying it now only to have to be $20 cheaper next week. Thanks in advance! :*

Yayy got my subscription renewed. Apparently, they're just charging the $49 for me. Or thats what they said... Just a note you have to have a credit card to get the special unfortunately it does not work with Paypal. I've heard users tell me it does but chat says it does not. :(

Thank you so much for the information in this thread. The card I signed up with last year at this time had expired so I was able to make a quick call today and ask about the price when I gave them the new card. My "$49.95 Annual Holiday Webpack"subscription is indeed $69.95 now :-/ but they will give me a $20 credit back for this year only. According to the customer service person, just people that signed up for premium in 2006 renew at the $49.95 price, the rest of us have to call and ask for the credit.

You must call/open a chat and ask for it back. Update! I called (love skype!) and they said I have to sign up for it and then call/chat back and then ask for the refund. I should get the 20 refund in 1-2 weeks. :)
