I think it's simply that there's nothing they can do if you're just searching from your side for any purpose. I do price-checks on my side anyway, so if I get banned, I just keep doing price-checks. I won't buy from my side though. I copy/paste the shop URL I want to buy from, to my main, and buy it there. I wish I knew whether I heard that from an editorial or something made up though. It seem reasonable to me. It's not much different than asking for an item link on the boards.

I think I remember an editorial from when CGers were really bad about it being ok to SW on your side if you were NOT banned on your main (with NPs from your main obviously).

But I have to admit I have gone to a side for a Faerie Quest (which I thought was what the Editorial referred to some time back)

hey guys ^_^ i just got accepted into Xmart Mall - mall3, and new to malling itself... but thanks to dmitri and kirsty for giving me this awesome opportunity as a head start! :P i just read all the pages on this thread and some posts are funny XD yeah i do admit owning a big shop is actually pretty cool, but i got into malling because of the sense of accomplishment that one would achieve after pricing so many items and watching them sell for profits :D hehe i know it would take me a long time to recoup the capital, but the experience and friends made will take me a long way ^_^ happy new year everyone... and happy malling!
