How old is neopets?

Did we not just celebrate year 10's Birthday? I just checked on Wikipedia and they say the site started ... "Neopets (originally NeoPets) is a virtual pet website launched by Adam Powell and Donna Williams on 15 November 1999." Todays neo news... Please tell me HOW DID WE Start being excited about year 12? Why did no one else comment on this? Did I forget how to learn math? Did I go to stupid school? Has this topic already been touched and I missed it in a posting? Can someone PLEASE tell me What the heck happened here, or that I am just what I already know, a little touched LOL! 0:-) Thanks all for your wonderful feedback in advance, I am looking forward to ROTFL and whatnot! *edited because i realize my logic was half-wrong* year one was only a couple months long. 15 November 1999 - 31 december 1999 which put them ahead. after that, it works like centuries where you're a year ahead. this would be the 11th year, so its year 12 (the same way we're in the 2000s and in the 21st century) --Manic http://www.neopets.com/browseshop.phtml?owner=tehubermanic
