Ditto Dmitri Wearable and furniture

Well I started with toys and I have to say it was a profitable category Victor! But the thing is it was alittle tricky since the most common toys are too expensive. But then I switched to Neggs and that was very profitable, actually I was sold out too much even though my neggs were alittle overpriced I felt I should change and I did to Faerie Shoppe, that gave me lotas of profits on all the items I bought but it took a while for them to sell, so i switched to Weapons which is what I am right now and I have to say it is alittle difficult to keep my shop stocked because I sell out like when I full it with 3 pages it goes down to 1.5 in under a day and I restock very often. Of course I know you were just Weapons Victor and probably wouldn't want to go back. But I think you are doing a great job with furniture! And of Course I heard of the Nursery Malls :)

I do Avatar and Toys. I am only allowed to stock a certain portion of the Avatar items though. I am first and foremost a Toy shop though. I have the category associated with Dark Faerie Quests. I do relatively well in this category. I try to restock my store once a day and when I do manage to, I make over 200K profit. There were times where I would only restock once every 3-4 days and my profits were near the 1 million mark. It does matter what category you take, but it also depends on how you restock. I make sure I SDB restock. That way my SSW doesn't tire out quickly and it's more profits I make. Restocking straight from the shops makes better profits then restocking from other users. Of course if other users are cheap, stock up from them as well. I do both, and my profits are great. You have to know your category and once you get the feel of one, you know what to do and that makes it all the more easier on your part.

I've gone from category to category alot in the past and didn't really like any of the ones I was in because I was hardly making anything. I started out with books and made a TON with my shop being around your size (35). Well I stopped playing, then came back and that's when I really got into my shop. I kept switching and I found that I made the most in categories that I actually concentrated on. My absolute favorite was Sweets and Bakery, to me it was super fun to stock, there was a good variety of things to stock, and the items sold really good. If it was open in my mall, I'd take it without a second thought. My second choice is the category I'm currently in, Clothing and Grooming. I restock from the Neopian shops sometimes, and you'd be amazed at the items that just sit in those shops. Some would bring a few hundred when sold at the SW price, which is great for getting some customers in your shop and if you took a little time to haggle, others would be pretty good too. The other reason I like it is because it covers two Faerie Quests. I've never tried some of the ones you all are suggesting, like Wearables, so I can't really speak for those categories. My advice is just to find something you like and more importantly stick to it.

Hm, I do Food & Drinks + Sweets & Bakery thrown in (only a small amount, as it is not part of my mall category). I find that Food & Drinks are VERY profitable- for the "cheaper" items (like the common Pizza, Ultimate Burger, doughnuts, Apples, etc.), the profit margins are very large. Some of them cost 300np but I price almost all of those at 1k, w/ like 4-7 in stock so as you can see, those sell like crazy. :D That's why I love Food & Drinks! As for the more rare foods and the Sweets/Bakery items, I price them 600-2,000np above the shopwiz (enough to get seen on my SW section) and I make very nice profits from those as well. Do what you love :) I've only ever tried Food & Drinks and Sweets & Bakery and I've been interested in PBs, Neggs, and Training but I really don't have the heart to change as I love my category way too much. :D Good luck!
