Am I late on my bills ??

I'm looking at my statement right now and the Payment Due Date is 2/16/10. Today being the 15th, am i going to be late if I put it in the mail tonight ??

yeah mail can take up to a week. They always say pay 7 days in advance. Online is good. I always use online and if you send in the payment today, you're ok for tommorow. You could but why would you want to do that? (the mailing) Im not sure how your bank works though. But usually online, 1 day is enough. standard for all on line bill payments through your bank account take: 2 days from the date you request the payment to be made. If you go to the bank tomorrow it will still take 2 days. best bet you can do directly to the place you need to pay the bill to and pay there as it wont be counted as late. most companies will give you about 3 days grace before charging you a late fee or the late fee will be very small if you pay with in 3-5 days. if its your credit card company though you will start paying interest on the due date. good luck getting that bill paid :) rein
