Neodating and TNT.

So my old friend jan is neodating some girl by the name of Chey.. In tnt's rules it states about finding a gf/bf and dating.. So, I found out they never met in real life. My best friend on the TC got kicked out her guild (she was on council) for saying how wrong it is. The spot is now open for his 'neogf'. The girl whom is dating jan is 13-14 and jan is 17. So its kinda gross because his bf is year and then it would illegal in the real world. Also, they are 'pretending' about their ages and what not.. Is tnt freezing them...no. Why not? Because they rather market the nc mall than to freeze people. So I wish tnt would freeze them both for neodating.... Have they admit it about dating without meeting? A few times on their rec boards and by via neomail to some of their friends.

Internet Dating on neo is and will never be serious. Simple as that. Are they planning to meet? Then it would be a concern.

"because is nice and he helps me put my coat on, plays with me and does what I want him to do" *lol*

It is not illegal to date a minor, it's illegal to have sex with a minor, and the law varies by state. Each state has an age of consent. In California, where I live, the age of consent is 18. Therefore, in this case, your statement is true (you must be age 18, an adult, to consent to sex - but you can still date!). However, in Hawaii, the age of consent is 16 and so a 16-year old may legally consent to sex with someone of any age (be it 18 or 80). Anyways... with regards to what I read in the rest of the thread, meh.... when I was 14 I dated a 17 year old. I turned 15 and he turned 18 a few months later. I don't see what the big deal is. It's only 3 years, LOL! We were together for 5 years and had a child together. I definitely wouldn't go so far as to use the word pedophile!! There's definitely a fine line as far as age differences in teenagers go but it ends once they reach adulthood (or the age of consent in their state). I like older men, almost everyone I've ever dated has been at least 5+ years older. My boyfriend is 5 years old than me (25/30). The oldest I ever been with was almost twice my age (20/39). To each their own :)

Lol someone at my school (15 years old) was dating someone she said was 18, showed us a picture and he looked like a 21 year old pedophile. She kept trying to persuade us how great he was... then we found out he really was one. XD --- Step outside, take a breath of fresh air, then look down to see if you have a new text message.

Actually, Jan is like a freshman in highschool, 15. You're right, he was lying about his age - but he's 15 and Chey is like 14. It's not illegal in the real life although if someone was 14 and dated with a..21 year old...it would be. ;)

A small percentage who are looking for "love" (compare to millions of people) who are over 21 can find it. But even then... its a very difficult sitation (moving to see each other, dating, etc.) So unless, you are looking for "real love" and you are over age of 21... and have the money to go to his/her place to meet, date, and to live there (because its mostly like that he/she is outside your country), then I would say, "Go go goooo!" Therefore, I prefer dating someone outside of this virtual world. Of course, one exception is if I really... really... really x10 love him then I would make him as one of my priorities. WOW!
