Whenever friends come around, I have to quickly switch the Neopets screen over/off (they're otherwise always open). But sometimes, rarely, I have to use someone elses computer to collect my dailies. And I have to ask to use their computer in a way that gives me some privacy :P then I go ahead and delete all evidence of me ever using their computer (cookies, history, etc).

Anyone ever open your internet and type in www.neopets.com out of habit.... and then be like OOPS! Totally didn't mean that. It's like it just comes out of your fingers without thinking.... yeah......

I've been on public and university computers before and checked Neopets, only to find that I'm already logged in under someone else's account. So someone has not even thought to log out of their account (nor accessed it from home since using the public computer). (I've always logged out and not done anything bad)

Im the same way, I really don't hide it. Hell it was even set as my home page for the longest time until the girls started using the computer. My sons friends thinks it makes me the cool mom lol All the others if they dont get it, thats their problem :P

I do not hide it but the hubby thinks it is the all time stupidest game in the entire world. I told him that he does not understand, I enjoy dealing with happy smiley faces, and I love the characters. It makes my day, which usually is crummy to come here and be with Adult friends and chat, and play simple non-over thinking games, they make my head hurt after a long day. My Husband on the other hand plays a game that is run via a CD Rom & internet War.I think it is the stupidest game in the whole world (honestly I just hate the dang gun noises and he is deaf so they are in super sound levels) It is not an overly graphic game 'cause it was made to work with much lower systems then even Windows XP. He just build a computer and used to play via being a strategist to get his kill points (they call them). Now with the Faster computer he is getting more into as his kill counts are way up. I explained this to get to the point all the clicking around neopia causes hiccups in his game because the internet connect is only so fast and he gets jumpy movements on his screen (hence I think the true hate for neo LOL!) So if anyone asks it is him, and I sometimes tell him no and then flip the screen just to keep him off of my nerves. It's not lying, I did in fact switch to something else (if even for a moment, OK I will settle for a little white lie, no one is harmed in that) Everyone else I know either Plays neo or knows that I play neo. The only one that does not is my BFF she lives out of state and is very dependent. I love her with all my heart, and will spend forever, even while playing chatting with her. I do though need a break from her, just like I need one from my family. My Sister plays, and we love playing KQ together. It is the only way two people who live 2 hours apart can still play an old fashion board game and since between our computers and connections it is a pretty strategic game. Plus, ever since I heard about HTML coding, I wanted to learn it. Now I know that Neo-HTML is not perfect coding, however when I first started it was much closer to the initial HTML Coding then it is now. It has all been learning by example and even my Dad knows I play, and thinks it is cool that I have had an outlet, that was not school or work where I continue to learn, and improve myself. I must say I have great support, except all around me thinks it's a little juvenile. That juvenile concept is what started it... I initially got on to ensure my child's safety then I was hooked. Now my Sister is hooked so we are fully grown kids I guess, since the teen thinks this is not a cool place much anymore. I am addicted and do not give a flying pile of dung what anyone really thinks good or bad. I am a take me if you want kind of person, some people are too sensitive to this. I do not care, I love my pets and I love my neo. These dang Quests lately though. This Tarla thing is appearing ridiculous does anyone else feel this way?
