Poll: Do you shutdown your computer?

I used to always leave mine on. But lately I have noticed my computer starts to run slower and slower the more days I leave it on. And now my kids are getting on me to save energy since it's earth day today. So now I have been shutting it off each night.

I shut down and clear my cache, cookies and temp files every night unless I'm working on something, only then will I leave it on for the night.

I used to use standby a lot :O but my laptop started getting all slow and stuff. So then until recently I used to shut it down every night. I stopped doing that because I noticed my laptop lags less if I leave it constantly on *lol* Restarts still needed every few days though stats say 20/04/09 I'd say i'm due a restart then :P

I shut mine down everyday. I feel this helps my computer run faster.

Well my computer is in my room... If I leave it on stand by you can still hear the computer making tiny noises at night... and this big blue light flashes which annoys me... Its just like having a clock in your room that goes tick tock tick tock ahhh... So yeah I shut mine down every night
