and the funny things they do to get rid of the boredom... *lol*
Sometimes I jump up on my desk and dance. We played Tick-Tack-Toe with screwdrivers on some LCD monitor screens the other day (they were 'kind of' broken, so I made sure they were 'totally' broken *lol* ). I take apart hard old and broken hard drives for the separator rings between the platters and am making a suit of chain mail out of them (it's taken years so far, I don't get enough rings anymore since the density of platters has gone up so much over the years!) I've put my foot through multiple printers just 'for kicks' (sorry for the pun!) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j1VlK9nSP-c <- I did this one years ago, it was amazing how long the OS ran fine with the cover off the drive, until I touched the marker to it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yISqCAnROh8 <- This is a totally awesome idea that I want to do sometime! Yes, I didn't find the movie Office Space funny, because it was too close to reality for me to laugh at...

I can remember fun days of drive destruction :D I still never understood why we were instructed to destroy all other 'deutilized' equipment, such as RAM, monitors, Motherboards, etc etc. I can only guess it has to do with the equipment being funded by goverment. That was always hard for me, destroying perfectly working components. Naturally though, I did allow some of it to make it to my home *lol* I mean, destroy an AS/400 server? 10 at once CD burning tower? Nah, I couldnt do that. RAM was the easiest to tuck away. As for harddrives, regular destructive methods are fun, but I always wanted to do more like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k-ckechIqW0 I couldnt find a good vid though, one with the computer running whilst set on fire would be epic:D http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UqQY-EEbNjM *lol* Interesting, I will have to try this. I do have an old projection that needs an excuse to be retired and replaced with a new LCD flatpanel -------------------------------------------------------------- The STUFF - Mainly Codestones @ reasonable prices http://www.neopets.com/browseshop.phtml?owner=whispering_acara&misc
I can only guess it has to do with the equipment being funded by goverment.
You would probably be correct there. There are all sorts of silly rules about destroying unused equipment in order to stop people from using government funding to purchase their own equipment. 'Oh, I'll buy a new machine this year, and retire the old one, and since there's no more use for the old one, I'll take it home!' It's been done with everything from $10 electronics to cars, and probably beyond... Gotta love humanity sometimes... Seeing as you have the Thermite video up, you probably saw this last year: http://www.pcpro.co.uk/blogs/2009/08/20/pc-pros-top-10-hard-disk-destruction-methods/ I like this machine: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sQYPCPB1g3o Mwahahaha!

I remember that article, always great humour :D
I like this machine:
*lol* you so shouldnt of reminded me about those! SSI has a ton of vids on YT where they shredded many various things. Thats one job I dont think I could ever get bored at doing :D -------------------------------------------------------------- The STUFF - Mainly Codestones @ reasonable prices http://www.neopets.com/browseshop.phtml?owner=whispering_acara&misc
Thats one job I dont think I could ever get bored at doing :D
I think I'd be too scared of the machine eating ME one day!

Ticket #5163-5785014 Solution Suggested? :o Unfortunately, you have not yet identified the original email *dung* *angry* *complain* Seriously, what the ?!! I sure as heck hope that its not possible for CGers to also grab stored passwords, as if they can, then they could of changed my email. If I am thinking correct, I think form data saved by the browser is stored elsewhere Either way, 1 step forward, two steps back *complain* I sent a premium frozen form about 4 days ago or so, with a bunch of VPC codes and other information. I mailed a response to this response, so hopefully I hear something soon! If the waiting time is a month, me and Ann have 2 days to get our accts back. I think we're the longest... :( We also both sent in premium forms. And I sent in a french one last night.

:D :D :D :o Okay, so heres the wierdness, I do not know why they thought I didnt give them my email in the original ticket... And... I did not get any email or anything from TNT, I just noticed my main was not listed as frozen in my NF list on my side... Requested a lost password and wala! Frozen from 23rd July to Today (21st Aug). Felt like an eternity. Doesnt seem like anything is missing, I still have massive amounts of stones in my shop, my till (which was unpinned douh!) is still about as much as I remember it being, all things I had in trades were in my inventory. I can only conclude that either 1. I was CGed but was protected faster than a blink of an eye (doubt that) or 2. I do a massive amount of trading/buying/stocking, and log mainly from two locations, home and work. I still cant imagine TNT thinking I was compromised, I mean, I do the same thing everyday, logging on when I am home, and logging on when I am at work... 3. They randomly froze any accounts with a high net worth automatically I probably will never know the true answer, but anyways, I am just so happy to have my main back! And on a friday too, such a good day :D To anyone else who may still be waiting, hope is with you!
