Neopet Site Updates?

Does anyone know whats expected from the site updates? like is anything to the viewers eye gonna change or is it all just for server and such?

The SSW isn't working very well either. It worked for a few things I searched for, then broke when looking for some map pieces. It MAY return some results, it may not return any (and doesn't have the 'Retry' 'New Search' buttons either). Edit: It's being very inconsistent, anyone else experience it? I can search for the same item a couple times, and get results one time, but not the next...

My SSW is fine (in sniperspace, haven't checked on the portal page coz I never use it), as far as I know - I'm half way through restocking... edit Although it is being very slow & sluggish second edit, several hours later it just started doing exactly what you described
