Please Help: New Laptop, evil anti-virus!

Hello, I got a new laptop today and it has Norton Anti-Virus. I want to install the neomallers portal but it is telling me a threat as very few users use it. What can I do?

You should be able to turn off the AV temporarily in order to install. In fact, most software packages even from major vendors state 'disable any antivirus before installing'. If you're paranoid, disconnect your internet connection first, then disable, install, re-enable, then reconnect to the interweb :)

I'm not paranoid just don't know how to disable norton lol
