My computer is acting wacko

This happened before around half a year ago, but after a browser cache refresh it went away, now my computer is acting screwy again. It's switching around different images; random pictures from what I already viewed will be stored somehow as other pictures, for example the ;) face in the screenshots was replaced with a Krawk's picture. If I click "View Image" the URL is for the ;) face but the picture is still replaced. This has happened about 5 times in the past couple of days, though clearing my cache fixes it. Also, it's not the same ones that always change, one time the *clap* face was replaced with my current avatar, movements and all. Oh and in that after picture the clapping hands are supposed to be swagbag! I don't know what's wrong! Help?

I use a free tool called "Xmarks" that not only back ups my bookmarks but also syncs it across my google chrome/firefox install on mac os x and the browsers on my windows installation.
