Shop Counter Won't Work?

Hey all! I am trying to use the shop counter, but it's saying that my code can't end in ?theme=default Is there a way around this?

copy the counter code in its entirety. (just select the entire line and paste it into a clean empty area of your code)

Yea I had to eliminate the ?theme=default to make it work.
