I have just created a new category in my portal. When I went to open it, it kept giving me an error. It's set to default so it won't even load for me to change it.
It says: Run-time error '6': Overflow
How can I get it to open regularly?

Hey.. if you open up the settings.ini file, there should be a line called enabled=true, change that to enabled=false and it should work as normally.
for example:

CheckUpdate=1
CompareMessage=True
Welcome=Welcome1

will that work for the shop front because I tried submitting mine and some of the books come up as [] and it gives me and error. It's done it for Basic Survival Skills and Guide to Petpets.

it will prevent the portal from crashing. as for those items, you'd need to open up the db_shopdata files within the DB folders and manually delete the offending lines in notepad.
