Mirror Mirror on the Wall - who's the foxiest Elephante of them all?

Apparently my MoRep is. I came home today to a bazillion neofriend requests and random neomails. It startled me and I thought that maybe the apocalypse was upon us. Then i thought maybe I had finally won the Lookup Spotlight. Nope. Turns out Mo won the Customisation Spotlight. I guess since I sell Wearables it's appropriate and had to happen sooner or later. It's been really -really- good for my shop till, though. Mo needs to be the foxiest neopet ever more often. Thanks. I'm a little irritated, though. I entered the lookup spotlight LAST May. It took them a year to decide to do something nice for me. I'm thinking of turning off friend requests and setting neomail to friends only for a couple of days - but the curiosity (about how bad it's about to get) is making it hard for me to go ahead and do that. ;) ~~~ bête noire (bet-NWAHR) noun: An object or person that is particularly disliked or that is to be avoided

Congrats a second time! I was just noticing that you weren't kidding about what winning is doing for your shop hits... I just looked at the top shops page for the first time and saw that you're in the second spot with 1,772 hits when your average is 533, amazing!! I'm so happy for you... although admittedly a little jealous. Good luck with restocking my friend, that part I do not envy.

The restocking was ugly, but I did get to up my shop size a few times today. The random neomails and nf requests were also ugly. Deleted over 110 friend requests so far. the bulk of the mail has been congratulatory and complimentary, and most of the beggars want me to code their lookup rather than give them a baby paintbrush or something. so i guess it's so far so good. I have a form neomail response on wordpad right now for the "make me a lookup" people. It basically says that it's very time consuming, something about teaching a man to fish blah blah blah, and then gives a link to a really good css help petpage.
