HTML/CSS Help with tables

Can someone please look at my shop front, the box with my shop counters in them is annoying me. I want the bottoms of the counters to line up -- there are spacing issues I can't fix. I didn't realize you can only put so many <_br_><_p_> before they stop working.... Can anyone help me fix this? That looks a mess but it's the best I can do on the site without it being linked -- if you have e-mail I can send, let me know your address via private mail. I have been plagued by tables forever! And so generous to share! Thank you for unlocking this mystery for me, LOL! It looks great -- so much better! I am so glad I put myself out of this misery and asked for help! Is there any difference in putting the padding values in different order on these two or does that matter? I have realized that one little thing can make a huge difference!!! I can't tell you the bizarre things that happen when I've added or deleted a space or put the ~td~ in the wrong place! I am sure you can imagine! Your welcome. Nope shouldnt matter at all. It was just how it ended up because of the coding you already had in there. You can adjust the padding number to raise it higher or lower too.

Great! I do need to lower one to get it to line up. I know this stuff is completely logical and I've used several guides and looked at other people's coding to try to learn how to do this stuff (fascinating stuff) but I'd love to find a tutorial like you get with software programs. I have googled for one but still no luck. Anyone know of one? Most of the guides tell what to do if you want _blank_ (like bold text, etc.) -- I'd love to know the rules of the pages like the user look ups and what-not as well as how to move things around to where I want them. I was shocked the first time I saw a user lookup that rearranged where the pets were.... I have seen some amazing lookups recently and my favorite are the ones that post an image other than the standard stamp, neodeck, etc. in the collections section of their user lookup. (eg. http://www.neopets.com/userlookup.phtml?place=211) Users do some pretty amazing things!
