version for mac?

i've got a mac laptop and unfortunately can't use premium. i know that there's a web version...but the features on premium are soooo much better. does anyone know of another site that offers similar features that i can use?

Nothing big. The main thing was that I thought it was missing that menu bar. But since dmitri says it's not in the new version, I guess it's not an issue. Other than that, it acts kind of jumpy when I move the window around, as opposed to smoothly like any OS-specific programs. Like, I grab it it to move it, and it like, jumps to the bottom of the screen. Sometimes it disappears and I can't get it back (because for some reason it doesn't show up on the taskbar or as an "open" process anywhere else). So I've learned to just leave it where it is!!
If you're using Mac OS X, consider trying to run it through Wine. http://wiki.winehq.org/MacOSX/Installing I can run the portal on my computer (running Linux) through Wine. It works okay - a little buggy, but it works. More info on Wine here: http://winehq.org Wine makes it possible to run *some* Windows applications on computers that aren't running Windows. I know very little about Macs so I wouldn't be able to help, but there's tons of great info out there and it's worth a shot!
Thanks for the tip! I'll be sure to check it out. :D

MSPP lend please? I will check it out too!!! I am so excited to use the portal:) Now I have to plug in 660 items into the portal :O

I hope it works for you guys :D Awesome program!!

MSPP lend please? Has anyone tried it yet?

Has this worked for anyone?

I also have a brand new Mac desktop.... soooo sweet, and the only downside is that I can't try the apparently super awesome pro tracker! There's too much technical stuff on the Wine website for me to understand any of it =/. But being able to use the pro tracker would be a dream for me, I desperately need it.

The Portal doesn't seem able to be installed using wine. I kept getting all kind of errors in the setup phase, so I gave up. The easiest way is to just use emulation (virtualisation) such as VMware Fusion (what I'm using) or Parallels, or simply wait for the web version to come out.

Does anyone know whether the more sophisticated web version is still being worked on?

I use VMware too it works flawlessly :)
