I need to clear out my SDB so I can be ready to stock different items...I know many of you have switched categories so this isn't anything new! Questions: 1. Should I keep the best of the stuff I have in every category so if I end up needing it in the future it won't be a re-buy? 2. Should I just sell it all? 3. Should I keep most of it and slowly put it through my shop after I'm settled in a category? Of course I would love the extra nps to buy new stock and upgrade...current shop size is 112. SDB situation: Items: 878 | Qty: 3,475 Majority Qty categories breakdown: Category: Album Item | Items: 22 | Qty: 265 Category: Battledome Equipment | Items: 26 | Qty: 66 Category: Books | Items: 154 | Qty: 602 Category: Food | Items: 446 | Qty: 1,967 Category: Magic Item | Items: 34 | Qty: 217

Good Luck selling! I man

Good Luck selling! I managed to sell off my entire SDB in one weekend both times I attempted the large sell off. Granted it was an all day process, but it usually goes well when I do it. I was ssw pricing them so that helped. Make yourself a board on the shop ad's if you give them a list they bite a little better. Last time I gave them a list of 120 items at a time and which page they were on (until they shifted anyway) and that seemed to really help. Most of any straglers I had left in my shop sold off on monday when everyone else was restocking their shops. To save time on pricing when the wiz putzed out, I would use the pricing only option and knock off what seemed in my mind to be appropriate to get it to the top, its easier to guess than you would think *lol* Then later on would go through and knock of 10nps at a time until they sold if I still couldnt check the wiz. I think alot of the malls especially at your size will allow you a full week to get things straightened out when changing catagories so it really is the perfect time to do it. Those of you settled into a mall, really all you have to do is talk with your managers about wanting to clean out and raise some points. Its not that hard for us to mail the rest of the members and see if everyone is interested in a clean out week, or if they minded if other did.

I tried your suggestion and put the prices of my super cheap items on my Shop Ad and it really worked, thanks! I am using the same method as you on pricing. I am trying not to get impatient and just wait to give people time to find me before I slash the prices some more! I think having a mall-wide SDB clearing is a GREAT idea!! Especially when things are slow like they have been recently. If everyone is doing it hopefully no one will get their feelings too hurt with crossing categories. That would bring a lot of traffic to the mall!!
