The only way I know that this could have happened would be if you went under Admin tools and reset things.

I've had it happen to me before. I had to redownload the whole program and insert prices for around ~120 items, so it wasn't as bad as your case.

Perhaps you did not log into the correct account in your portal. You have different profiles you can log into (though I cannot figure-out how to make a new one after the initial set-up or how to get to the screen that let's me choose and yes, I've read the FAQ page *that was for Dee's benefit*). I hope it is something simple like that *thinking it isn't though* because I have a database with 1200+ items and would cry if I had to recreate all that work! Uncheck default. Also did update the program recently? If so, you must have installed it in an directory other than the original one

That is impossible. The shop stock system does not use memory and uses the hard disk. You must have installed it in a TEMP folder or one of your anti-virus programs thought it would be good for spring cleaning.
