Portal getting "hung up"

My husband decided it was a good idea to wipe my computer and install Windows 7 on it, and as a result I lost my old version of the portal with my old profile stuff. I have installed the Pro version 7.2.0 and am trying to set up my new profile. However the portal is getting "hung up" when I try to add all the pages of my shop. It skips back to the start of my shop front and just sits...and will not let me advance. I left it for several hours yesterday, with no change. Screenie attached. I tried adding one page at a time to my profile, thinking perhaps it was because over 1000 unique items was too much for the portal to handle. However after doing that when I then tried to do my whole shop to check for sales it again got stuck. Am I messing something up here? Hoping it's not an incompatibility with Windows 7 - program opens just fine and no issues with the download. (I also uninstalled and reinstalled the portal, just in case that was an issue). Any suggestions would be appreciated! :)

Dmitri, do you know why it used to work for me that way when I had the older version of the program? It was still my same size database (over 1200 unique items), and I could copy-paste the whole thing in and then click process...and it went through. Was that just something that worked in the older version but not the newer one? I'm afraid I don't remember what version number I was using...it was the blue one though, looked like the screen shots in the tutorial.

Did you change browsers? Anyways 1200 is already stretching it. Thought it would die at more like 400 items or something

It took a bit for it to process, but never more than a minute or two. I've always used Firefox, and the latest version they have out for it. Only thing that's changed is my OS, I'm running Windows 7 now instead of XP.

Ohh... well Neomallers Portal is untested in windows 7 so I have no idea how that OS handles it. I'm guessing it's similar to Windows Vista but who knows.
