Sales Tracker - Windows 7

Hello Recently upgraded computer to Windows 7. Could not get Sales Tracker Professional Edition to install. Get error message during install. I do not have windows 7 but try using Internet Explorer to first download the installation file to your desktop, and then clicking on it. Someone people have issues when they try to run the installation directly off the TEMP folder (which is often default when you choose OPEN instead of SAVE AS on the download dialog box P.S. install the core first! I'm almost certain Windows 7 natively supports the portal's shared files but to be safe and avoid errors... it's better to install the core if you have never installed it on your system Hope this helps!

Seems like a windows 7 issue. Since i dont have it, cant really test it and buying it would cost me $39 bucks even with the student discount. Now if anyone can convince me that windows 7 is substantially better than XP and or vista in battery life for a laptop, perhaps :P

I might actually get it since people are saying it extends laptop life by over an hour o.o You need a university/college email address though U.S students can get it for $29 btw Retail price is $199 for windows 7 pro lol. Hmm seems like it's not liking the installer program (tries install windows virtual pc or something) I'll probably have to create a separate installer for Windows 7. (probably just an unzip thing since 7 seems to natively support it without any kind of installation) You can try downloading patch update and using that instead. Some people tried that and worked for them

I wish my university offered windows 7 for free.. like some others.. I use linux most of the time so not sure if win 7 will be worth it.. even at $39.99 XD
