To me vista is better on the graphics compared to Windows and the start menu is "simplified", the document files take a little longer to load. _____________________ Please help me support my Training, Meds, Neggs shop! I think I just might have to find a student in my family to borrow *lol*

Did you do any update of any sort? Because I was able to get it installed in Windows 7. I am running it through VMware but I don't see how that would make a difference. I just downloaded the core & installed it normally, no issues; it asked if I wanted to replace a couple of DLL's that were newer than the ones it was trying to install, and that was it - although it seems that when I change settings, they don't "take" - ie., I updated the default low stock level warning and it's not changing it under manage stock. Other than that, I haven't seen any problems (yet) - but haven't done a whole lot aside from submitting my shop front :P

Nope i did not update. Also changing the default in stock warning will only affect new items that are added. If you want the old ones to reflect these changes you would need to enter admin and choose reset to default levels

I have Windows 7 and after trying three times almost gave up trying to install it, same thing with the message about the updater... Then darned Norton popped up telling me about several intrusion attempts or something via the updater component of the portal. Once I turned off all Norton's features, it installed fine. I was wondering what was going on because it installed fine on my other laptop with Windows 7, but it was the Release Candidate and therefore didn't have Norton or anything pre-intalled like my HP Mini. No additional problems so far. I like the taskbar in Windows 7 quite a bit.

I also have windows 7 and I'm getting the same message. Cannot find source file. :(

I did the 'express update' after the core didn't install about 3 times. It works, until I try to load a profile, at which point I get the screenie attached... Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit English have tried with both FF 3.6b5 and whatever internet explorer version windows 7 comes with...

Im not sure if it applies here because I dont have windows 7, but any time in the past that I have had an invalid windows .ocx file for other programs, I have been able to do a search and download that file and all is well again.
