I like your banner. :) Oo but maybe change some of the link colour where the text is on the shops. But that's just me, I don't see a problem wit it.

A mall banner without graphics is a big no no. Like people said here, not everyone knows english and recently, the international population of neopets has increased substantially. Back in the days, i would barely get noob mails in other languages. Now non-english noob mails make 3/4 of all noob mails received. Amazing. Of course there are factors such as being unable to read the english text that says "Dont beg" etc etc but even then. Plus graphics are always pleasing to the eye.
