I kinda managed to locate the issue. Seems to do it on some windows 7 installations as well. But I know for sure, it will work if you have Microsoft Office installed. I'm guess that program installs the files needed for NeoMallers portal to work so basically, it allows you to install just the updater file to get it working (as opposed to needing the core) something like that --------------------------------------------- Celebrate [color=red]Xmas[/color] at [color=green]Xmart[/color]. ooh I think I'm on 64 bit too, if that helps :) Microsoft office? I got a 60 day trial with my laptop - if I activated that, would it work? As in, would it keep working after the trial?

However this isnt confirmed yet since I managed to run into this error on a windows 7 box too. It seems to be a limited compatibility between windows 7 and MS Visual Basic 6 since the installation doesnt run properly in all versions of 7. Still no luck. When I install the core, I get the 'cannot find portal.exe' and when I get the express, it gives me the msinet.ocx error =/
