If there was one, every Maller and their mother-in-law would be using it.

I've thought about this too - but I think it's ultimately for the best the way it is... well, that may be an overstatement, but can you imagine how difficult it would be to find items in shops if every single shop had items organized differently? Sure, the shop might have a nice system *within the shop itself* but it would be SO annoying not to be able to compare prices in different shops easily, to have to get used to each shop's way of classifying and organizing its items. At least the way it is, a newbie can come into my shop, see an Angelpuss within the first couple rows, and then go into another shop and find it in more or less the same spot as in my shop.

Actually, not being able to compare prices is beneficial for mallers. Annoying for regular people but that's what the shop wizard is for.

Yeah, that thought went through my head too as I was posting that. I guess we can't presently inflate our prices as much as we could if the shopper could easily find that same item in other shops. But I do think that shoppers would get annoyed that there would be no real uniform pattern to where they would find the item they need in various shops. In one shop, faeries could be on the first page, and in another on the fifth. I think it might be annoying? Of course, the argument could also be made that a system where we could organize items would allow us to place similar items into neat categories and would make shopping easier for people. But I think that only applies to shoppers who would stick to one or two shops they're familiar with, while I get the impression that most newbies just find the first shop in a hut that has what they need. Anyway, I'm overanalyzing this, it's clear that I'm in the middle of writing an essay... gah.

I guess I just speak from personal experience. I like being able to easily compare my shop's stock, item by item, to other shops' stocks to see what other items I could stock, what I'm missing, etc. That's definitely a plus.

(I think I'm just worried about how obsessive I would get if I were allowed to organize everything... haha :P).

If you know jav@script/java then you could make a code for it, but I'm not sure if it is against the rules as I don't use them..

Dmitri you filtered jav ascript?
