lol, I'm just glad these people can't see my SDB. Over 100 million NP in items. Occasionally I get a neomail about my stock portfolio size, but it's generally along the lines of "you can't have that many shares.. why are you lieing?" One of my recent neofriends came across as quite friendly. Over time he asked for my birthday and sent me a gift for it. So I later sent him one back for his.. only as soon as I did this, I was inundated with noob males from people within his guild saying their birthdays were coming up and could I give them a gift too... So I don't give gifts out often anymore. At least nothing over 100k (let alone 250k like the item was). My own fault I guess. I've no problems with letting people know how 'well off' I am, but the focus is on enticing them to ask how, so then I can pass over the techniques for them to follow. Only a few people have made the effort, and they've done quite well for themselves. /Malls for me are just an entertaining addition to my neopets life. And it supports my other efforts in making NP.

lol, a vaguely decent battledome item at that price would likely turn into a much more expensive item in a couple of years. And the items I have, I rarely paid any more than 10k a piece. Some are worth more than 300k now, and still rising. It's always nice looking into the box and seeing 200+ of a single item that's worth 50k. I look at them sometimes and think.. "I could upgrade near 150 times with that..". But my hut just doesn't get enough hits (and thus sales) to make the profit more than those items would bring in later.

I've never thought to use things I like as my password. It's typically some word/letter combination that is so unusual, but holds some private meaning for me. Like I'll find a word that represents me in some way, sometimes with some relation to the site I'm visiting. Then I choose one letter in that word, and change it into a number; it that letter occurs more than once, then I replace them all. The chance of someone working out my password based on things that I'd tell them; zero. Besides.. doesn't TNT record failed account logins and the persons IP address..? Surely that'd be a very easy way to work out who was up to no good and which accounts were at risk. Would be much more helpful if TNT would send us an email letting us know of each failed attempt.

My new one is all numbers now. I logged out then bavk in once... seemed fine. I probably just freaked out over nothing. :)

sounds like a typical noob mail. neopets does have a secret/recovery question anyways. if they started asking what your mother's maiden name was then yeah. i dont even reply to boring/typical noob mails like that lol
