Yep I do agree that its not a kind thing to do, but I think the scammer accusations are a little harsh.

It was my understanding that most likely they were doing trades all at once, and that is why I said it is scamming. No, it wouldn't be smart to pay all at once, but I truly hope that didn't happen. However, if money was truly missing from the mall money, which he claimed, and he is claiming to everyone that the tax beast took it when it is obvious he didn't, then yes, I think I would be correct in saying that is scamming and really reportable if you are in his mall and he told you that unless he just lied about it existing in the first place. And honestly, why would anyone lie about money that never existed?

Hmm not sure if its scamming but it certainly isnt very nice to agree to a deal and then just accept another offer, but at least all the petpets were of the same price What if this same deal was done with a mixture of petpet prices.. For example 200 petpets at 500-2000 nps each and they decided to average it to sell it 1250 nps/lot (for convenience) and the seller accepts the offers on the cheaper petpet lots and accepted another offer on the more expensive lots. What would your thoughts be then? I know this happened to me before when the seller accepted my offers on the cheaper book lots and then decided not to sell the more expensive ones

If the case was that they had a bunch of 1k books, and a bunch of 5k books, so you guys agreed on some 2.5k per book average, and they only accepted the offers on cheap books, for sure that is scamming.

Ok to clarify, yes he did lie about the tax beast.... and not that it matters but the mall money wasnt missing, just some extra he thought he was going to pitch in that nobody knew about. What he had left was still what he had on his mall page. Even if the lying about the tax beast was a little absurd. The post was not deleted on purpose, the site happened to glitch in the middle of that and some posts went poof. I really hope this was not an attempt to scam.

Scamming or not - there's not enough evidence to say. There was a written contract that was violated/breeched. Plain and simple. Like I said earlier - all trades like this should go through Neomail to keep thing even between both parties should something go hinky from one person's end.
