Shop Counters: Premium Features

New counter features will soon include the ability to make your counter invisible (so it doesnt show up)
- Hut statistics (how much exposure your hut gets)
and a couple nifty features.
But since these are resource-intensive, it will only be avaliable to active members of the community, which means, all those people who visit this site like bots (aka refusing to click the link to upgrade to the new system even after reading the message, etc) won't have access to it :P

Counters v3.00

The counters will be updating again soon. But this time, I got a little smarter and will code a script that will automatically take your existing data and upgrade it to the new system so you dont lose any of your current hits
Some features of this new system:
- Last visitor details will tell you where exactly that particular visitor came from (shop wiz, mall banner, etc)
- opens up an opporunity to add tons of new features (and maybe even custom variables) without affecting server load.

Counter Suggestions

I think it would be neat, but pretty much useless, to be able to see top shops ranked by not only total hits, but divide them up into the categories. Have a top shop hits list for NB ads, pet pages, banners etc. It would also be cool to be able to click a users name from the top shops list and see where their hits come from, but also make this an option for people to disable if they would rather have the info not seen. :D

Web-Based Sales History Tracker

Just wondering how many of you would be interested in a web-based sales history tracker. Obviously, it wont be as good as the NeoMallers Portal but it'll provide basic functions such as your day-by-day sales performance, averages and whatnot.
If you want advanced features such as which items are out of stock, graphing capabilities, you'll need to use the portal (since it's so resource intensive and most likely wont run here) And some of you have already told me that you have 3000+ unique items in your shop... managing all that is... well yeah

Resetting of counters

Just wanted to let you guys know that the counters will reset to 0 soon. A newer and more powerful counter system is about to come online and the old data is going to screw it up (for example, the daily averages etc), so you'll have to recreate the counter via the counter page.
You'll know when this happens since 1.) your counter wont work anymore in your shop or 2.) Your statistics page will link you to the create counter page.
The code will remain the same so you wont need to do anything about it :P
