With a shop that size, you'll want to attract visitors from the SW. I would have a couple hundred np markups on around half your items, so you are still making a small profit, while attracting people to your shop. the other half I would put slightly bigger markups, like maybe 500-2k, depending on how expensive the item is. You can get away with bigger markups on more expensive items. Good luck :)
The smaller your shop, the closer you want to be to shop wiz prices. For pricing, you just have to have kind of a give and take... Just choose a price to start, maybe a few hundred over SW or something... Then if some things are selling too fast, mark your prices on those higher, and if something doesn't sell well at all, drop the price on that item.

You could price at SW prices if you really want to, but it would kind of defeat the purpose of being in a mall, so I'd suggest at least a small markup...

i personally find that the only nb ad that does really anything are those that are Page 1,2 & 3. As for stocking my shop, I have maybe 20 items or so that are sw priced that sell fast and I stock a TON of them, and then i over price the rest and make maybe 100k a day off that and have been doing so since my shop was size 100 and its worked very well for me.

Hmm... as far as NB banners on other pages... The expensive banners of course get more publicity. But according to the averages for our mall counters, members in our mall get an average of 17% of their hits from the NB banners. And we place only 25k in banners each week, including one at about 10k-ish, one at about 5k-ish, and several smaller ones.

I price my items depending on the cost to purchase the item, and how well it sells. As in, for all items under 1000np, I price them anywhere from 100~500np higher then what I buy them for. If I find one item to be selling fast, I'll price that item higher by 100np, and lower the cost by 100 if something was selling slow. For items that cost 1000~10,000np, I'll price them 500~1000np higher then the shop wiz price, and for items over 10,000np, I'll price each at least 1000np more. Occasionally I will stock some items (from freebies, dailies, or whatever) and price them cheaper then the shop wiz (by a few neopoints xD) to attract customers, but I'll never buy an item for more then I can sell it for. This way I still make profit, however small it may be.

Well while we're tlaking about that I'll put my question..
I stock cheap-o toys too and they seem to sell well (I mean, toys worth 1np to 10np)...
I sell the 2 usuki sets that are given on keyquest - they are worth 1np, I buy them in BUNCHES for 1np each.. And I sell for 15np and even so I sell at least 2 or 3 a day... Potgacherki (?) plushies are worth 1np and I sell for 12, there are days I sell 10 of those..
I was wondering if maybe I should price them a bit higher or just enjoy the customer flow and let it be since, well, 5np plus or less on the item won't really make a difference but another customer will...
I don't have a fast enough internet speed to restock from the main shops... so what i do is buy the cheapest on the SSW and then price to the bottom of the SSW or a bit over if it sells to fast. That way I am still in the top 10 cheapest shops.
