Because people love finding ways to make profit. They see others find cheap items on here and go search for them as well. More people sniping = more competition = lower chance of getting the snipe yourself when one does appear. I'm pretty new to this, but I managed to snipe a secret lab map for 1k (one of the 30k ones). I sniped someone's entire shop, where they had everything priced for 10-50np, and it was all worth 500-5000. Sniping with slushies is especially easy, I find at least five a day that are priced a thousand or so lower than I can sell them for. It's great, and it feels so good :D

The other day I found a Neopets 7th Birthday Goodie Bag for 25nps. And last week I found two Honey Bubble Baths for 1np, when they go for like, 700nps. And that from a mallers shop too.
