Just wondering to those that know a lot about computers, which computers posted here is the most fastest? I'm thinking of getting a new computer once I get enough money.
If you're going for normal web browsing + light games, go for intel core 2 duo.
If you play hardcore games, intel core 2 quad, intel core 2 i7 is good.
Laptop users should consider Intel Core 2 Duo with Intel Centrino 2 (for battery life)
Or you can try *shiver shiver* *vomit vomit* a macbook but be prepared to spend twice as much money but with windows vista being such a junky OS, might be worth it *vomits some more*
Windows 7 which comes out in october is promising to be good though

Is neopets considered a "light game"? I know its just a bunch of clicking but sometimes my computer lags when I have multiple tabs when I'm restocking. So if I get that first option, this will not happen anymore? Or do I need the second option?

As for what kind of stuff you should look at, take Dmitris word, I don't know crap :p I just went for the computer with the biggest numbers :O
Killercars probably stole his computer - like how he tried to steal an Enya CD
Hehehe maybe that'll teach The Source to put better security tags on their computers
the best way to buy a computer is go to a place where the associates arent paid commision, tell them your budget and your needs and they will help you. Plus prices often vary from place to place

How will you know that they aren't paid in commission? So that means Future Shop, Best Buy, etc. aren't good places to buy your computer?
Killer, so I should buy a computer like yours then? But how much is that? I can't spend too much on a computer.

Silly girl, you don't buy computers :O you borrow them for a long time. Once you decide to return it, leave it in the trash bin for the trash man to return to the store.
I don't if you should get a computer like mine, depends what you need it for. I -love- speed, and if you are as devoted to RSing or KQ as I am, this is the way to go :P if you just want a machine to check your email and stock you shop etc, you probably don't need to spend a ton.
And it cost around $750, without the monitor, before tax. It came to about 1k total after Harper robbed me. Although I probably didn't get the best deal, if you hunt around, I'm sure you could get a similar model cheaper
