What is your preferred Instant Messenger?

I've gone back and forth between AIM and MSN ,but currently use MSN more unless I'm on my phone. But my MSN have been down since Thursday night. *cry* Has anyone ever had there's go down for this long? o-o -kicks Microsoft- My computer has a strange aversion to microsoft things so it might just be me. :P Also which messenger do you prefer?

I only use it when I really need to and since its "nasty" I tend to use it as quickly as possible. Only 25c maybe, once every month. =) And yep. I've never had a cell phone. Unless someone buys it for me and pays for it every month, I'll definitely take that offer. But for now, I have more important things to spend on like my tuition fee, books, foods and clothes. Never use it anymore, as it was just a source of drama (long story). Not that the same issues occur on voice chat, text chat and in person as well. I havent canceled it only because its good for emergencies, and the occasional fake 'Im sick' (but really not, im just tired from restocking all night long) calls to the boss. That, and the fact that my 2010 Fusion has SYNC, I cant get myself to cancel the phone service. I can only use MSN, YIM and AIM *hate* my computer, and refuse to run right. I used to use Meebo when I had my Windows 98 computer (with dial-up, I might add) and MSN wouldn't run because my computer was so outdated. Then I switched to Pidgin Portable (Open source chat client) to use during school, haha.
