I can't take this anymore! (2nd time CG'd)

Seriously, this is getting out of control. I just got CG'd a few months ago (tried to buy something in a user's shop). I got my account back fortunately. Now, I am frozen when I didn't even FALL for anything. I was using the SSW, clicked on the user's name (can't remember it OF COURSE!), and was redirected to a new login page. Immediately (just to be safe), I went to ANOTHER page, changed my password, then everything is fine. Come to find out when I sign on today, I am FROZEN! Including my side account! I am sick of this...I spend tons of money to be a Premium member & buy NC items. If I seriously don't get my account back, I am going to be PISSED. What is wrong w/ TNT? Are they seriously SO focused on getting us to buy things that they can't even code so that entering a user's shop from THEIR page (aka SSW) doesn't cause us to be redirected to a bad login page? More than likely, I am quitting Neo if my account is gone...yes I could rebuild, but I don't want to. The changes that have been going on the site...really...it's just not worth it anymore...

oh no. Change your password to a completely different one. Word has it that someone was able to download the neopets user database containing these passwords

Yeah I did that last nite, but I guess it doesn't matter & they froze me anyways. So have you heard of this SSW scam? And what abt this thing you're telling me? Any other news, like what TNT is going to do so we don't ALL get our accounts taken? I just don't understand how we are not protected more/their site is able to be compromised ALL THE TIME

Im not sure about the ssw scam. but as for the database, you need to change your password. Only possible solution. Old accounts and certain people are getting targetted and they are working down that list (aka i got frozen last year) but it seems to be somewhat connected from what i hear

In all honesty it use to be a lot worse. And the thing is TNT has tried to stop this. After they changed coding nobody heard about it for awhile and now there is another way to code it to get the information. And if TNT continues to block certain things with coding its going to become a pain to figure out and what happens if they block something to block descriptions in shops completely. How are you going to have malls then? And its a game site - yes you paid money for things and for premium but in all honesty have you really gotten anything from it. Entertainment yes - but nothing material in front of you which means as soon as you pay, when that month is over its gone. And with the NC items - you had this happen to you before, you knew it could happen again therefore you choose to continue to buy items knowing it could happen in the future. Thanks for the tip...this is seriously redic. I am over it... So what do you think the chances are of getting back my account AGAIN? Is Neo getting more relaxed on giving back accounts since they are realizing they have their heads up their asses? (not sure if I can say that on here but I am seriously over this)

I think it's ok. One of mall members got hit twice and they got it back. Just be polite and you should have no issues. But seriously, they should just disable CSS or put in alot more strict filters as to what kind of characters can be used.

It's the internet - its a game site. Plenty of people have had this happen to them without having a hissy fit over it. And you can't expect to create a board and only get positive response.
