[SECURITY-WARNING] TP/Close your trade lots

Lots of people losing stuff from stuff being "auto accepted" or something. Something that has to do with neopets.com/diary.phtml Basically dont go there or the calendar page since it appears they are able to add some stuff to it (maybe an auto accept URL) I have no further info other than this but yeah, just close your lots and dont visit anywhere that people tell you to go to [quote]If you get neomailed something linking to the neopets diary, do not click the link or reply to the neomail if you have items in your trades as the items will go missing.[/quote] http://www.neopets.com/neoboards/topic.phtml?topic=140121653 UPDATE: The diary appears to be cloaked link that actually takes you offsite to a CG site. Basically embedding a CG link into a piece of text that happens to be the link to the diary. It's like CLICK HERE except instead of saying CLICK HERE, they just have that as the diary page's URL so it "looks" like clicking that link will take you to the real diary page.

Im guessing since the diary is a very old part of the site, they didnt bother adding in checks. Im guessing the scammer injects code into his own diary, runs that code directly on the neopets servers, which injects another piece of code into whatever username he chooses. and really, all it takes is a preg_match and maybe the htmlspecialchars of php

Oh I totally understood every word of that Dmitri 0:-) I can't be bothered to take my trades down, mainly hts junk anyways. No I was being sarcastic LOL he got me lost very early on. I can live with losing what I have if my laziness catches up with me. Although hopefully it wont. Then maybe my first thing is true. Anyways the neofriends thing is still glitched. same with neomail. Even if you have these blocked, you still get it. and 100% of these are people from Brazil/Argentina, etc so there HAS to be some kind of security weakness when using the portuguese version of neopets
