This is very interesting to read. My sweet daughter decided one night while I was cooking supper to make an account for me. Or maybe she was tired of me playing all the games on her account!!! Since we live in Texas she gave me that name, she used 95 from the year she was born. So I guess with this name everyone thinks I'm young :D

inara60, I always wondered if you named your account after the Firefly character. Now I know. Good choice. I chose my name because I'm a fan of Buffy. I had used slaygal as a nickname on other sites, but it was taken on Neo, so I added "of_sunnydale." I don't even remember my first account. I didn't log on much and then I got frozen for something trivial. But I've had "slaygal_of_sunnydale" ever since. Lots of great stories here!

Hmmmm Maeve_2000 My first name is Stephanie but there were six Stephanie's in my class one year so my teacher called us by our middle names. Mine is Maeve. Unusual for a Canadian resident, but it was after a Hawiian foster-child that my grandmother took care of for about five years when my dad was growing up. It just sort of stuck with my friends and family over my first name. I barely heard Stephanie unless I was in trouble as a child.. lol Oh and I made my account in 2000 :o lol

Mine came together pretty easy. I have a black cat, and his name is Magic. I added the "2003" on the end because that's the year I began playing on Neopets. Btw, I'm new to this site (joined yesterday evening) and wanted to say hello to everyone. I've been reading the messages, and you all sound like a very nice group ;)

chirigami means tissue paper in Japanese && I was stuck on a username and my uncle suggested it :P.

my youngest grandson calls me nannykins and I live in Georgia. So I am ganannykins. :) there sure are some interesting names and stories! :)

Lots of great stories here![/quote] Yep, I've always been a big Firelfly fan, and like you, found my desired username of Inara taken, so I tacked a number to the end :P I tried every conceivable combination I could think of, inara, inaraserra, inara_serra, _inara_ everything was taken! There must be a few Firefly fans on neo :D
